The BTAA has been providing sports programs for Berlin Township for over 50 years. Our goal is to provide all children a safe, fun and character building recreational sports program. We strive to promote health, social, educational and character development of boys and girls. We teach fundamentals and techniques in all sports offered.
The BTAA is comprised of 4 executive board members and 3 Trustees. We are always looking for volunteers - coaches, snack stand, maintenance....anyway you'd like to get involved. The more help we have, the greater the experience we can provide for the children. Our public meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of every month at our clubhouse. The clubhouse is located behind the JFK school. If you have an opinion, questions, comments or criticism, we really want to hear it. Please come out to our public meetings and let your voice be heard.
If you would like to volunteer, a Berlin Township ordinance requires you to submit to a background check. A background check is good for two years and must be redone before / at the two year anniversary. There is a procedure for initial background check, and another for maintaining your background check with the Township. Depending on the time of year, it could take a few weeks to obtain an appointment, so please don't wait until the last minute, as you will not be allowed to coach or volunteer until the process is complete. Please contact us or the Berlin Township Police Dept. (non-emergency # 856.767.5878) for more information.
